Cambage watches new WNBA team win opener

Liz Cambage could only watch as her new team Las Vegas Aces won their WNBA season opener but she did get to hang out with Kobe Bryant.

Resting an Achilles tendinitis issue, Australian Opals superstar Cambage was in the stands wearing a suit as the Aces beat the Los Angeles Sparks 83-70 at their Mandalay Center venue.

In her absence, forwards A'ja Wilson (21 points) and Kayla McBride (20) led the hosts to a comfortable victory under coach Bill Laimbeer.

Cambage arrived at the Aces this month after being traded by Dallas Wings at her request.

After the match Cambage posted a photo of herself with NBA legend Bryant, saying "shout out to @kobebryant for coming out to support us tonight and bringing some few WNBA ballers with him!!"
